NEW YORK, Sept 13 (Reuters) – Designers The Blonds celebrated the return of in-person exhibits at New York Trend Week with a reside catwalk presentation in a cabaret membership, serving up an escapist imaginative and prescient of shimmer and sparkle.
That includes performances from singer Bodine and R&B duo Lion Babe, Sunday night time’s present wrapped up per week of largely in-person style week occasions following two seasons held just about as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.

The most recent assortment featured loads of metallics and shimmering trouser fits, strapless frocks and glossy corsets.
“The inspiration for this season was the thought of the place the way forward for style goes, the way forward for leisure, the way forward for journey,” artistic director David Blond informed Reuters.
“Clearly, we work in a luxurious area, so we actually needed to point out our shoppers a type of escape and one thing to have enjoyable with. On the finish of the day, we’re all excited to be again in reside kind and so we needed to do one thing celebratory.”
New York now arms over the style baton to London, which opens its style week leg of the spring-summer 2022 season on Friday.
